The Beginning of a Faith Journey
Baptism marks the beginning of a believer’s public journey of faith, declaring allegiance to Christ before God and the church community. While baptism is a sacred sacrament and an important step of obedience, it does not bring salvation—salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. However, baptism strengthens our walk by affirming our identity in Christ, anchoring us in community, and reminding us of the new life we have already received as we continue to grow in obedience and devotion to Him.

Do I need to be a member to get baptized?
Not at all! Baptism is for anyone who has put their faith in Jesus. While we'd love for you to become part of our church family, membership isn't required for baptism.
I was baptized as a child. Should I be baptized again?
That's a great question! If you were baptized before you personally put your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to be baptized now as a believer. It's about your own decision to follow Christ. We'd love to talk with you about your story.
Can my friends and family come watch?
Absolutely! Baptism is a celebration, and we encourage you to invite everyone who matters to you. It's a powerful moment to share with the people you love.
What should I wear?
We will provide a baptism T-shirt for you. Please bring a towel, a change of clothes, and comfortable shoes. A baptism certificate will also be presented to commemorate this special moment.
I'm nervous about going underwater. Is that okay?
That's completely normal! Our pastors are experienced and gentle. We'll walk you through everything beforehand, and you'll be in good hands. Many people who were nervous say it was one of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
