What is Lights in the City?

"Lights in the City" is our way of bringing church closer to where people live, creating more intimate worship experiences, and being a visible presence in different neighborhoods.

Who can join Lights in the City?

Absolutely anyone! Whether you're already part of our church family, bringing a friend, or joining us for the first time, you're welcome at any of our locations. Find the one nearest to you, closest to a friend's place, or in an area you've been wanting to explore!

Every Lights in the City location is a little different — some gather in homes, cafés, or community spaces across Penang. Wherever you go, our leaders and hosts are there to welcome you and help you feel at home.

One of the best parts of Lights in the City is that you’re not doing life alone. There’s space to talk about the message, encourage one another, and grow deeper in God’s Word together.

Expect unity, faith, & fellowship together as one church

Expect a time of worship, prayer, and a message that keeps us grounded in God’s truth and united as one church. At every location, you’ll experience worship and the message together with others who are growing in faith alongside you. More than just watching a service, it’s a chance to worship, connect, and journey together in community.

Community

As we gather across different parts of Penang, Lights in the City creates space for people to journey together in a more personal and meaningful way — growing in faith, friendship, and belonging as one church family.

Worship

Though meeting in different locations, we remain united in heart and vision — worshipping together, receiving the same Word, and encountering God through each community’s unique expression.

Impact

By gathering throughout the city, we hope to carry the light and love of Christ into every neighborhood — being present, building connections, and making a difference wherever God has placed us.
